On Sept. 17, 2016 stuntman Eddie Braun will attempt to jump the Snake River Canyon in a rocket nearly identical daredevil Evel Knievel's rocket. This time the aircraft named Evel Spirit is designed by Scott Truax, the son of Evel's 1974 engineer. Evel didn't make the jump but survived. Scott Truax was a young, impressionable boy at the time. With this jump, Eddie and Scott will be paying homage to Knievel and Truax, accelerating up to 400 mph at top speed. Check online news! We shot a segment at the Butte Evel Knievel Days for the team - they are passionate and dedicated.
